When to Use Geotextile & Pins – The Extra Support Your Project Might Need
Got soggy or unstable ground? Use Geotextile
If your area has poor drainage, water damage, or soft soil, we recommend laying geotextile fabric underneath your EzyHex grids. It acts as a barrier to stop gravel from sinking and helps stabilise the surface over time.
*No water issues? If the ground is firm and well-drained, you can skip this step.
No kerb or edge? Use metal pins
If your project doesn't have a curb, path edge, or retaining wall to hold the EzyHex in place, secure the outside edges of your grid with metal pins. This helps prevent shifting—especially on driveways or sloped areas.
* Pins are only needed on the outer grids, not across the whole area.

What Makes Ezyhex Different?
At the core of every Ezyhex grid is our smart hexagonal cell design. This honeycomb structure evenly distributes weight and locks materials in place, preventing movement, rutting or deformation - even under pressure. The result? Surfaces that stay smooth, stable and functional for years to come.
- Effortless to install – no specialist tools or trades required
- Strong load-bearing performance – ideal for vehicles, machinery & high-traffic zones
- Built-in erosion control – perfect for sloped or water-prone areas
- Excellent weed suppression – no more endless weeding between gravel
- Reusable & recyclable – good for the planet, great for your project
Built for Projects Big and Small
Ezyhex geogrids are tough enough for heavy-duty driveways, yet simple enough for weekend landscaping jobs. Use them to:
- Reinforce gravel driveways, access roads, or carparks
- Stabilise turf or grass parking without turning it to mud
- Support drainage layers in wet or low-lying areas
- Level uneven ground under paving, garden beds or sheds
- Prevent erosion on slopes, paths or banks
Whether you're working with gravel, soil, sand or turf, Ezyhex provides a solid foundation with minimal prep work.
The Effortless Way to Build Strong, Stable Ground — Anywhere
When you’re tackling a landscaping or construction project, the last thing you want is unstable, uneven, or rut-prone ground. Whether it’s a muddy driveway, patchy turf, or waterlogged area that never quite dries out — surface problems can undo all your hard work.
That’s where Ezyhex steps in.
Our advanced hexagonal geogrids are designed to create strong, stable surfaces that last — without the hassle. Built for durability and engineered for simplicity, they offer a DIY-friendly solution for anyone wanting professional results.

How It Works
1. Prep Your Area
Clear and level the space where your geogrids will go. Remove major debris and smooth the ground as needed.
2. Lay the Ezyhex Panels
Position your Ezyhex grids and connect them using the built-in clips. The hexagonal panels easily lock together like puzzle pieces.
3. Fill with Your Chosen Material (10mm - 15mm).
Top with gravel, soil, or turf—just make sure your chosen fill is 10mm or smaller for best results. The cells lock the material in place and prevent movement or sinking.
4. Done. That’s it.
Enjoy a clean, durable surface with zero ruts and minimal maintenance.
